'Stamp Out Hunger' Food Drive Around Corner

The United States Postal Service, Letter Carriers, Campbell's Soups, Valpak/Cox Target Media, and many volunteers unite to conduct the 16th Annual “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive, Saturday, May 10. The food collected during the drive will be used to benefit local food banks, Stefaney Bishop, coordinator for the Washington County portion of the drive, said. The Letter Carrier's food drive takes place nationally on the Saturday before Mother’s Day every year, Bishop said, specifically to benefit food banks the most. (read article)
