 Some of the best and brightest young ladies in Toquerville competed for the honor to represent their city in the Miss Toquerville Pageant Saturday, March 24 in the Hurricane High School Auditorium. After an evening of sharing talents and showing poise under pressure Mikyla Gubler was crowned as Miss Toquerville 2007. Mikyla is the daughter of Lance and Marvene Gubler. Dallas Horrocks, daughter of Ron and Donetta Horrocks, was named as the first attendant and Dacie Elison, daughter of Jared and Heidi Elison, was named as the second attendant. The title of Miss Congeniality was awarded to Chloe Tuttle, daughter of Tom and Heather Tuttle. |

 Toquerville residents have been able to watch the new city office building slowly take shape. The foundation was laid on July 13 and workers began framing the walls on July 17. By July 21, the walls were completed and work began on the roof. |
