 There is a new car wash in town, helping to keep the vehicles of La Verkin spotless. Actually it is the old car wash that has been completely revamped and updated, said Debi Groves, the new owner and manager of The La Verkin Car Wash. Debi and her husband Lanie, who owns and operates Roadrunner Mufflers and Auto Repair, acquired the car wash in November, Groves said. Since then, they have put extensive work into the car wash to make it something special."It took four months to rebuild everything," Debi Groves said. "The car wash now uses top of the line products. Also, there is an operator on the premises during daytime hours." Groves said they also made sure there was adequate lighting during the nighttime hours. The car wash is self-serve, and open 24 hours, she said. Not only have the mechanics of the car wash been updated, but the look has as well, Groves said. It is now an eye-catching addition to the community. "The car wash is fabulous," Groves said. "Local residents are coming back." Sharing the lot with the car wash on Saturdays is a farmer's market. Groves said the farmer's market provides fresh produce from local farmers, and also sells a variety of hand-made goods from suppliers in the area. She said the farmer's market has a unique look, and really adds to the ambiance of the area. Bookmark & Share              |
