MCC lights up for the holidays |

 Amy Hammon was one of more than 100 young residents from around Mohave Community College's North Mohave Campus in Colorado City who attended the MCC Shines holiday lighting ceremony and open house on Dec. 1. Attendees enjoyed Santa, holiday refreshments, Christmas caroling and other fun events. The campus light display will be on each evening through Jan. 4. MCC is part of the state of Arizona community college system and has five campuses in Mohave County including a Distance Education campus and the Colorado City location. Spring classes begin Jan. 25.
