Bjarnson and Houston to Perform at Tabernacle

Hurricane Valley Choir To Present Mother’s Day Concert
- For the Journal

The Hurricane Valley Choir will be presenting its Spring Concert honoring mothers on Saturday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hurricane Intermediate School Auditorium. The School is located at 1325 S. 700 West in Hurricane. Admission will be $2. All mothers attending with their families and all Art Crusade of Hurricane Valley members will receive free admission. In addition, all attendees will have a chance to win a free manicure for their mother, courtesy of Red Mountain Spa. (read article)

Tigers Season Ends With Fluke Goal

For better – then for worse – the Tigers found out that the playoffs are a whole other season. In the first round of the state 3A tournament, Hurricane avenged an early-season loss to North Sanpete by defeating the Hawks 2-1 in Hurricane April 30. (read article)
